Rosland Capital Releases Latest Design in Exclusive British Museum Series

June 17, 2020

The fourth design in the popular range of coins showing treasures from the British Museum’s collection features a frontal view of a Corinthian helmet dating back to around 460 BC. The helmet bears an inscription stating that the Argives, inhabitants of Argos, dedicated it to Zeus as spoil won in battle from the Corinthians. This particular helmet was first featured in Rosland’s British Museum Masterpiece Collection in a side view, but now we see the helmet as the Argives would first have seen it – head on.

Rosland Capital now offers a new proof coin celebrating 70 years since the first British Grand Prix was held at the Silverstone Circuit on May 13, 1950. The Grand Prix has now taken place 70 times, with 53 of those events occurring at Silverstone. This coin is a limited edition only available from Rosland. It features the specially-created F1 70 logo on the coin’s reverse, as well as the name “British Grand Prix”, in F1’s own distinctive font, while the “70 – Born 1950” logo appears on the protective package.

Rosland Capital Supports Medical Workers in a Time of Need

At Rosland Capital we’re keenly aware of the difficulties faced by so many during the COVID-19 crisis, and we want to do what we can to support hard-pressed medical professionals, whose work is crucial to all.

To show our solidarity we’ve arranged for individually packaged hot pizza, cheese lasagna, salads, and cookies to be delivered weekly throughout April to medical workers at Providence Saint John’s Health Center, near our office location. We’re also supporting food industry workers and local restaurants Milo + Olive and Milo SRO. All this wonderful food is prepared by them, with our thanks and appreciation.

Rosland Capital’s CEO, Marin Aleksov, said “We know medical professionals – caregivers, nurses, doctors – are facing tremendous challenges, and we want to show we are all grateful to them. We can’t do what they do, but we can stand with them.”

Rosland Capital unveils its first ever 100 oz gold coin to commemorate the 1000th Formula 1™ Grand Prix.

The largest gold coin created in celebration of the 1000th Formula 1™ Grand Prix, held in April 2019, is a spectacular 100 oz, 150mm diameter, 999.9 fine gold proof. This is one of the largest ever minted in Rosland’s Exclusive Specialty coin collections, and only one such proof will ever be offered.

The 1,000th Grand Prix coin features the names of historic locations that have hosted the FIA Formula One World Championship™ since its inception in 1950, as well as the distinctive Shanghai skyline and dynamic F1 logo.
