Rosland Capital is proud to offer a selection of very special coins that are available only from Rosland. These are all limited-edition coins, minted as proofs, from some of the world’s finest mints including Swiss-based PAMP SA and the UK’s Commonwealth Mint. They all feature the licensed logos and marks of some very distinguished names.
Included in the selection are coins celebrating Formula 1® motor racing, including kilo coins in gold and in silver dedicated to the 1000th race in F1 history, held in Shanghai, and the 70th anniversary of the first British Grand Prix held at Silverstone.
We’ve also created a coin set in memory of one of the all-time racing greats, the late Ayrton Senna, who first won at Monaco in 1987, and went on to win the Grand Prix there 6 times. The coins include a 30 oz spectacular, of which only 6 were made. The Ayrton Senna Foundation benefited from sales of the coins, to support their work with Brazilian children, and we’re very happy to have helped.
As licensees for the PGA TOUR we have created a series of coins, from 1/4 oz to 1-kilo, celebrating the 2017 Presidents Cup and the 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 PLAYERS Championships held at the beautiful Sawgrass course. We’ve also added coins celebrating the life and achievement of the “King” – Arnold Palmer, with two different portraits of this all-time great.
In 2018 we created our first coins featuring treasures from the British Museum – the Masterpiece Collection. The first designs featured a Greek hoplite helmet, a Roman gladiator helmet, and the Anglo-Saxon Sutton Hoo helmet. We’ve since added a range of coins featuring the famous Lewis chess pieces, in gold and silver.
In 2019 we added coins created under license from the International Tennis Federation, including Davis Cup coins in ¼ oz gold. In 2022 we first offered coins celebrating the Billie Jean King Cup and featuring Billie Jean King’s portrait.
We have also added to our collection of coins celebrating the achievements of seven-time FIA World Champion Michael Schumacher, created in collaboration with Formula 1. A third portrait appeared in multiple formats in 2022.
Among our 2023 coins was the first recognizing the growing popularity of soccer, featuring one of the legends of Spanish football – Fernando Hierro, with coins in gold and silver, from 1/10th oz to 1-kilo.
New in 2024 are coins honoring the great Jack Nicklaus, co-branded with the PGA TOUR, and coins celebrating the 2024 F1 Championship, to be followed by new British Museum historic helmet offerings.
